What hands-on investing means in practice

A seat at the table, a phone that answers, and a long view of the business.

Draft. Highlighted markers show where figures will be added once sourced. No numbers have been estimated.

“Hands-on” is easy to say. In practice it means being present: on the board, on the factory floor, and on the phone when something goes wrong.

We work alongside management on the questions that matter most in the early years: hiring, capital planning, supplier relationships and governance.

It also means knowing when to step back. The people who run a business every day know it best. Our job is to strengthen them, not replace them.
